Brandywine Community Library’s Third Art Show showcased the artwork of 15 teens with more than 30 submissions.
A dozen drawings, five paintings, three sculptures and 13 photographs expanded across two walls and onto a table at the library this year. The teens in grades sixth through twelfth, family members and board members celebrated the creativity as the winners were announced on Nov. 30 with a reception in the library.
“The third annual Teen Art Show was a great success thanks to everyone who participated, the artists, donators, volunteers, judges, and patron-voters,” said event coordinator, Samantha Holmes. “It was so fun, seeing the community come together and with such creativity! I’d also like to thank Jennifer Johnson and Marie Ballantyne, at the school libraries, who helped make this all possible.”
