Vickie Held, Kutztown, hosted an Autism Speaks Christmas Spectacular at Renninger’s Farmers Market in Kutztown on Dec. 9.
The children’s event included a visit with Santa, Christmas music, food and funnel cakes. A book was given to every child. Children could create crafts. There was a Live Nativity with live sheep and goats. Home made Christmas cookies, pops and candies were for sale. Attendees could do their holiday shopping at participating vendors. Kutztown children’s author Kevin McCloskey signed his book at the event, with proceeds going to Autism.
