Tompkins Financial Advisors has made a charitable contribution of $2,000 to the Greater Berks Food Bank to support the organization’s many food programs. The donation is being given in honor of Tompkins Financial Advisors’ clients in southeastern Pennsylvania.

“Gifts like this help us supply the more than 300 food programs we support in Berks and Schuylkill counties,” said Doug Long, manager of Marketing and Development. “And the timing is especially good, as donations at the holidays mean that we can offer families not only hot meals and emergency food bags but also hope and strength.”

Bill Winters, managing director of Tompkins Financial Advisors, said that his company chose the food bank because more than 96 percent of all donations go directly to food and services. “We’re pleased to make a donation in honor of our clients and can’t think of a more worthwhile organization than the Greater Berks Food Bank.
