As of Saturday, Dec. 16 there was less than one week until the official start of winter but late Friday an overnight fresh-fallen snow greeted Santa Claus and one of his elves as they made their appearance at Schaeffer’s Harley-Davidson in Orwigsburg for this year’s edition of Pictures with Santa. The annual event attracts people from far and wide as kids and pets of all ages line up for their photos with the jolly, old elf. The photo session ran from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and as you can see from the photos, the proverbial good time was had by all. All proceeds from the event benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This year a total of $1,262 was raised for MDA.
