The Morgantown Area Business Association appointed its 2018 officers during a recent breakfast meeting.
The 2018 MABA officers are Dave Hinkel, treasurer and webmaster; Kelly Spica, vp of events; Lois Ann Mast, vp of membership; Kelly Donahue-Miller, vp of marketing; Nora Filmore, president; and Brenda Hoffman, secretary.
The Morgantown Area Business Association was formed in 1984 to support and promote business in Morgantown and the surrounding communities. MABA also supports municipal law enforcement and emergency response agencies in the local community. They work with the local High School and other agencies to promote business education. All area businesses are encouraged to join and participate in MABA activities and events.
Annual Membership in MABA includes listing in both the printed directory and the MABA-Online website Member Directory. The Directory is mailed out to more than 5,000 homes in Morgantown, Elverson, Honey Brook, Glenmore, parts of Mohnton, Pottstown and Birdsboro areas. The website connects online visitors directly to business websites. Visitors to the MABA website can click on a map available on Google showing address, phone number and website link to MABA member businesses.
Members receive the monthly Newsletter, and are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings and participate in MABA activities such as the annual MABA Business Expo. Monthly meetings are held the third Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. at The Windmill Family Restaurant in Morgantown.
