During the month of January, the Art & Craft Gallery of Hamburg is hosting an exhibit featuring the artwork of students from the Hamburg Area High School.
Students from grades 9 through 12 submitted work in several categories. On display are both oil and acrylic paintings, drawings, photographs, pottery, sculpture, and ceramics.
Rebecca Dommel, art instructor at Hamburg Area High School, created the exhibit to showcase the different types of art that her students have been creating. While there will not be a designated reception this year as in the past, Rebecca welcomes the public to peruse the exhibit which is in the window of the gallery and see the many talents of the local students.
The Hamburg Area Arts Alliance is pleased to feature the work of the Hamburg Area High School art students during the entire month of January. The exhibit is hosted by the Art & Craft Gallery of Hamburg which is operated by Our Town Foundation, a non-profit, community revitalization organization.
Funding for monthly featured artists’ exhibits is provided by the Berks County Community Foundation.
