Two drivers sustained minor injuries after a head-on collision on Pine Street at Thorn Alley in Fleetwood on Feb. 1.
Fleetwood Police reported that 3:16 p.m. on Feb. 1, George Mumma, 77, Fleetwood, was driving on Pine Street when he attempted to make a left turn into Thorn Alley. While beginning to turn onto the alley, Mumma did not see a 1999 Red Subaru Legacy and his 2000 Red Ford Ranger struck the Legacy head on.
Mumma was transported to Reading Hospital by Life Lion EMS for minor injuries.
The driver of the Legacy, Jill Honley, 37, Fleetwood, was evaluated for minor injuries at the scene of the accident by Life Liion EMS.
Police report that both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
Pine Street was closed and traffic was detoured around the scene of the accident until both vehicles were removed.
Fleetwood Fire Company assisted on the scene.
Fire Police shut down Pine Street and detoured traffic.
