Kutztown Area High School 9th grader Zoe Weidman was named Best Story in Contest in the second annual Lehigh Valley Kennel Club Story Telling Contest.

The contest celebrates the extraordinary relationship between students and their pure-bred dogs and this year’s theme was “Today I Woke Up As My Dog!” Students from throughout the Lehigh Vally Area participated but Zoe was a repeat winner having taken second place last year. But this year she was “top dog” winning more than $250 in cash and prizes for herself and her dogs.

Students from throughout the Lehigh Vally Area participated. First Place went to Northwester Lehigh junior Christopher Hippensteel, Second Place awarded to Parkland 7th grader Meredith Schmoyer, Third Place to Parkland 7th grader Sophie Pierre and Honorable Mention was presented to Parkland 7th grader Julia Scriff.
