The Hamburg Lions Club had their monthly meeting on Friday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m.M in the Hamburg Borough Hall building.

Their guest for the evening was Marsha Townsend. Marsha’s organization is called Bringing Up a Bookworm. Their mission is to help and encourage parents to read to their children from the day they are born. The program is sponsored by The Humanitarian Social Innovations. The program was very informative and interesting for all who attended. There was also a new member installed into our den the same night, Lisa Johnson.
