Fleetwood Borough Police Officer Dale Ulshafer was promoted to Sergeant at the Fleetwood Borough Council meeting on Feb. 12.
Sergeant Ulshafer is filling the role previously held by Sergeant Greg Geisinger, who retired after 27 years with the police force.
“We thank Sergeant Geisinger for his exemplary service to the community and his fellow officers,” said Fleetwood Mayor Tammy Gore. “Sergeant Ulshafer has been with the police force for nearly 19 years, has extensive training, and we are very fortunate to have someone of his caliber ready to take on this new title and the responsibilities that accompany that position.”
