The Twin Valley Elementary Center (TVEC) needs your donations to help make the Annual Used Book Sale sale a success. If you have books or other items to sell, please keep an eye out for bins at local businesses throughout the month of March We will happily accept your gently used books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles, and audio books. Please do not donate textbooks, encyclopedias, medical journals, computer games, comic books, magazines or VHS tapes.
Donation drop-off locations include: TVEC Office, 50 Mast Drive, Elverson; Elverson Fitness Center, 51 S. Pine St., Elverson, Robeson Lutheran Preschool, 3520 Plow Road, Mohnton; Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, located in Walmart; Ephrata National Bank, 6296 Morgantown Road Morgantown.
We will also host two evening drop off times at Twin Valley Elementary Center (TVEC) Friday, April 6, and Monday, April 9, from 5 to 7 p..m.
The Used Book Sale raises money for the TVEC PIE/PTO and benefits TVEC students, teachers, and families. Most items are priced under $1, with many items priced at $.50, and nothing costs more than $3. Items for sale include paperback and hardback books for children and adults, CDs, DVDs, cookbooks, puzzles, and audio books.
The Used Book Sale will take place Thursday, April 12 through Saturday, April 14. Thursday, the sale will run from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. Saturday only will include a Bag of Books sale for $5 per bag.
