During the Read Across America Celebration at Hamburg Area School District, members of Hamburg Area’s Leadership In Student Athletes (LISA) traveled to Tilden and Perry Elementary on Feb. 26 and 27 to advocate and model reading as a worthwhile activity. LISA members read their favorite children’s books to students K-2. The high school students spoke about the joys of reading and shared how being a good reader has helped them in their classroom and athletic endeavors.
