On Monday, April 16 Living God Lutheran Church in Honey Brook will host a financial discussion led by Patti Brennan, CFP founder of Key Financial in West Chester. Brennan is rated as one of the best financial advisers in PA, one of the top 250 in the United States by Forbes, and Top 100 Women in America by Barons.
This event is free and open to the public. It will begin at 7 p.m. There will be a Q&A period after Brennan’s presentation. This discussion will focus primarily upon the financial needs and concerns of women. However, male partners and friends are encouraged to attend. Patti promises there will be something for everyone.
The purposes of this event are to empower participants with knowledge needed to manage family finances by becoming familiar with important financial concepts and options and demonstrate to participants they can successfully manage their finances with a few simple principles and the right tools.
Examples of specific topics Brennan may address include the special perspective, skills and results women bring to management of their finances, why planning is so powerful, the difference between diversification and asset allocation; and a discussion of types of investment options available, the power of compounding and reducing taxes as much as possible, the need to understand one’s risk tolerance, ways to obtain additional financial information and expertise, and how to get started/get moving.
To participate, register by April 11 via email at living.godlutheranchurch@gmail.com. The church is located at 3200 Horseshoe Pike, south of Honey Brook on Rt 322 near the Heatherwood retirement facility.
