For a second year, students from Twin Valley High School applied and were granted a $150 scholarship to attend the prestigious 2018 Longwood Gardens Horticulture Symposium event held annually. Five students received this scholarship for the 2018 symposium, held on Feb. 2. Students along with Nicole Weaver travelled to Longwood Gardens and took part in several presentations, including their favorite “Bugs of the Garden.” This Symposium served as a wonderful way for scholarship winners to learn more about the career of horticulture and to develop networks with professionals.
