Huff’s Church Hoe Down, 540 Conrad Rd., Alburtis, Hereford Township, Saturday, April 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Paul Adam, calling with the Days of Old Band playing. No charge with free drinks and snacks. Invite friends and family and members of the community for a good, fun crowd. Never tried square dancing before or in a while, don’t worry about not knowing what to do. It’s all about the moving and having fun together. No partner, don’t worry, there are often singles looking for someone to partner with to fill a square.

The church softball team will compete against Hope Community Church Sunday at 3 p.m. on the New Hanover Lutheran Church field.

The Preschool Clothing Drive will accept bagged good clothing at 10 a.m. April 21.

April 22, Worship led by Rev. Elmer Reinhold at 10:15 am. Rev. Reinhold is covering for Pastor Linda while she is on vacation. Faith Formation for all ages starts at 9 am.

Choir practice takes place every Thursday at 7:30 pm and we always welcome new voices to join in.

The annual Spring Flea Market, Craft Show and Bake Sale will take place on April 28 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church

Sunday Worship Services are 10:15 a.m., Sunday School 9 a.m., Contemporary Worship Service 8 a.m., the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.

Trinity will be hosting a spring concert given by the Boyertown Area Choral Association on April 29 at 3 p.m. The cost is free, so come on out and get in the mood for spring with some fantastic choral music! There will be a potluck dessert social following the concert, so please bring a dessert to share.

Annual Pet Blessing is May 20 at 2 p.m. Bring your dogs, cats, or other pets for a spring-time blessing. Friends and neighbors welcome! We will also be receiving donations of dog/cat food that will be donated to the Berks County SPCA. Hopefully, weather permitting, we will be outside.

Musical Celebration on June 3 at 3 p.m. Featuring our choirs and instrumentalists. Please come out for an afternoon of great music and fellowship.

Christ Lutheran Church

Fourth Sunday of Easter April 22, worship services at 7:45 and 10:15 a.m. Pastor Matt Ollikainen will lead the congregation in worship, present the sermon, as well as the Children’s Sermon at both services. During both services, we will Bless the Seeds and Soil, and at the 10:15 a.m. service, we will process to the lot across Niantic Road for the blessing and conclusion of the service. Confirmation Class is 9 a.m. in room I. The Edu-Worship service will be at 9 a.m. in the parlor. Those ministering at the 7:45 a.m. service are Acolyte; Catherine Shade, Lector; Evan Shade, and Greeters/Ushers; Kelly and Shawn Shade. Those ministering at the 10:15 a.m. service are Acolyte; Dylan Drury, Lector; Nancy Fioriglio, and Greeters/Ushers; Nancy Fioriglio and Ginnie Wilkinson.

The Endowment Committee will meet on April 24 at 7 p.m. in room B. The Bell Choir will rehearse on April 25 at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Senior Choir rehearsing at 7:30 p.m. The Junior/Cadette Girl Scout troops will meet on April 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the social hall.

St. Luke Church

Join us for the 8:30 Sunday morning Bible Study at 8:30. The discussions are interesting!

Then, join us at 9:30 a.m. for worship. This is the fourth Sunday of Easter, which focuses on the image of the Good Shepherd showing us how the risen Christ brings us to life. The Senior Choir will sing, “Gentle Shepherd,” by Dresie, and the Cherub Choir will sing, “The Lord’s My Shepherd.”

This Sunday service will be led by children in the congregation, as they fill some special roles as deacon and lectors.

The J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) class will meet at 9:30 on Sunday, with the theme of the lesson being “The Good Shepherd.”

Following the service, all are invited to Memorial Hall for Rock Painting!

7th to 12th grade students are welcome to join in the fun of Laser Tag Sunday afternoon at Laser Quest in Wyomissing. St. Luke Youth will join with youth from Good Shepherd UCC and St. James Lutheran Churches.

The Community Clothing Rack will be open for distribution on Wednesday 1-4 p.m. Please come out and support this important community ministry!

Handbell Choir will rehearse at 6:30, followed by Sr. Choir at 7:30. Catechism will meet at 7 p.m.
