Spring Book Sale: The Friends of the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library will host its spring book sale April 26-29 in the annex of the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library, 215 Windgate Drive, Chester Springs. Hours for the sale are Preview Night, Thursday, April 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. exclusively for Friends of the library; bring your membership card or sign up for a membership at the door. Open to the public Friday, April 27, from noon to 8 p.m.; Saturday, April 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, April 29, from 1 to 4 p.m. (fill a paper grocery bag, provided by us, with books for $10). All days: Fill a Friends Library tote bag (provided by us) with any sellable items for $25.

Spaghetti Supper: The Youth Group of the Honey Brook Presbyterian Church, 4331 Horseshoe Pike, will hold a spaghetti supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Spaghetti, sauce, tossed salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Donation only. Proceeds will be used to fund youth camps.

First Annual Hops for Hooves Craft Beer Festival and Vendor Fair: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Penn Wyn Motor Association, 798 Mohnton Blvd., Mohnton. Event raises awareness and funds for Grey Muzzle Manor Sanctuary, Inc., a Fleetwood-based non-profit charitable organization that provides senior dog rescue and hospice, community outreach pet programs, and animals assisted therapy. Event includes vendors, food, band and DJ, local breweries. Grey Muzzle Manor residents will make appearances, including the debut of Zoe the Miniature Horse. Spring Bazaar and Gift Basket and Raffle: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., St. James Lutheran Church, 1337 Giegertown Rd., Birdsboro. More than 60 gift baskets. Fund raiser benefits church programs to support the local food banks, quilts for third world countries, shoe collection for Souls for Souls. You can rent a table to sell items. Event includes yard sale items, baked goods, plants, crafts and much more. Kitchen open for eat in or take out with all home made food, even gluten free options. Menu includes hot sandwiches, walking tacos, salads, Manhattan clam chowder, crab soup, old fashioned root beer float table.
