This month the Hamburg Lions welcomed Matt Fisher and Crystal Arndt from Reading and Northern Railroad. The railroad is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year and they came to give a program to us about some of it’s history.

They have approximately 350 miles of rail in their system. They average approximately 125,000 passengers annually as well as servicing many businesses transporting freight. They have approximately 1200 rail cars and 41 locomotives.

Very interesting program so if your thinking of taking a train ride check out The Reading and Northern Railroad.
