Burglary report

AMITY >> On April 29 at approximately 11:04 a.m., Amity Township Police responded to the Hill Road Recreation area for a report of a burglary of the snack stand. A member of the Daniel Boone Athletic Association stated that sometime between 3:33 p.m. on April 28 and 10:19 a.m. on April 29 the snack stand was broken into and approximately $110 worth of food items were taken, according to police. Police are asking anyone with any information that could assist us in the investigation contact the Amity Township Police Department at 610-689-6002.

PFA violation

UNION TWP. >> On April 19, State Police were called to a home on the 1000 block of Giegertown Road for a report of a protection from abuse order violation. The accused person, who was not named by police, allegedly sent text messages to the victim in violation of an active PFA order. Charges have been prepared.

Vehicle crash

WASHINGTON TWP. >> Police responded to a report of an accident on April 23 at 9:08 a.m. on Route 100. Police say the crash occurred when a Ford F150 driven by Katherine Levengood, 33, of Pottstown, came to a stop as the vehicle in front of her attempted to make a left turn into a driveway on the east side of Route 100. Another vehicle, a 1993 Kenworth TT, driven by Larry Shelmire, 54, of Quakertown, was unable to stop in time and struck the Ford, police said.

Drug possession

LOWER POTTSGROVE >> Officers arrested a woman after they were advised of a vehicle driving erratically on Route 422 and not obeying traffic devices on May 3. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver, identified as Gloria Bullock, 50, was found in possession of silver pipe, police said. Police recognized the pipe as one commonly used for smoking crack cocaine. Bullock was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
