The Kutztown Area High School Odyssey of the Mind Team hosted a Crush-a-Thon at the Kutztown Stadium Grand Opening on May 6. This was part of their fundraising effort to get the high school Odyssey team to the World Finals. Kutztown Elementary student Egan Sewall and Kutztown High School student Nathan Hayduk built towers out of balsa and glue. People could sponsor either tower for each pound that it holds. They crushed the towers at 4:30 p.m. on May 6 as part of the program for the stadium grand opening.
