The Kutztown High School and Middle School Jazz Bands will perform concerts in the Kutztown Park Bandshell on May 23 as part of the “2018 Borough of Kutztown Concert Series in the Park”. They will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. on stage and delight the audiences with the sounds of our young adults in the Kutztown High School and Middle School Instrumental Music programs.
The Kutztown High School Jazz Band, under the Direction of Dustin Shirk, and the Kutztown Middle School Jazz Band, under the Direction of Carl Zeplin, will perform many popular songs and tunes, and entertain the crowd with the sounds of old and new. Come out for this mid-week concert to relax, unwind and get over the mid-week “hump”.
Come early, grab a seat in our covered bandshell, or set up your lawn chair outside the bandshell, and grab dinner in the Kutztown Park. The Borough Park Concession stand is under new management this year, so try “Mad Dogs in the Park”, as they will be open before the concert and during the intermission with a variety of menu items.
The concert is free to the public and is part of the Borough of Kutztown “2018 Concert Series in the Park”, and will be held rain or shine in the covered Kutztown Park Bandshell.
