Michael Sexton of Longswamp Troop 575 earns Eagle Scout rank

Brandywine Heights High School sophomore Michael R. Sexton, 15, of Longswamp Troop 575, recently received his Eagle Scout rank. For his Eagle Project, Sexton fundraised, organized, and constructed a GaGa Ball Pit for the Topton Borough Park Renovation Project.

Sexton earned 32 Merit Badges and held the positions within the troop: Troop Guide, Troop Instructor, Assistant Patrol Leaders, and Den Chief. He is a member of the Order of the Arrow Brotherhood. He completed National Youth Leadership Training in 2015.

Extracurricular activities include Brandywine Heights Soccer Team, Tennis Team, Sporting Clays, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Concert Band, Cascade Brigade Juggling Club, and Legion Honor Guard Bugler.

He is the son of Sherry and Timothy Sexton.
