POTTSTOWN >> A community fair focused on bringing people together will be coming to Pottstown this weekend.
The Pottstown Human Relations Commission will be sponsoring the community fair set to take place Sunday, June 10. The focus for the day will be on some of the Pottstown Human Relations Commission’s values including unity, community awareness, diversity and mutual respect.
The free event will be held from noon to 5 p.m. and is expected to be located on High Street between Hanover and York streets. The fair is expected to host about 70 vendors and include music, food, speakers and games. Healthcare screenings will be made available as well as helpful information from community vendors.
Celebration Christian Services of PA is acting as the event planner. Some participants include Montgomery County Health and Human Services (Community Connections), Montgomery County Community College, Teen Challenge of Philadelphia, Penn State School of Medicine, Gamma Phi delta Sorority, Rapping About Prevention (Rap Artist), American Heart and Stroke Association, J&J Roses from Boyertown (Toys, Novelty Items and Car Show) and others.
