Northern Berks Regional Police Department welcomed its newest member of the department, Officer Greggory Falk who was sworn in on June 4.
With roots in the local community, Falk graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 2007 and later graduated from the Police Academy in 2011. Prior to being hired by Northern Berks Regional Police, he worked at Penn State University.
“I’m excited to get started. I like that we have a great chief, good sergeants. It’s a bigger department. We have 15 guys now, so I’m looking forward to the opportunity to be working with them. It’s a great community,” said Falk.
He hopes to bring an upbeat personality to the department.
“I’m looking forward to work with the community and get to know the community and enforce the laws here in Northern Berks,” said Falk.
Northern Berks Regional Police Chief Brian Horner said he is very happy to welcome Officer Falk to Northern Berks Regional Police.
“He interviewed very well and was in the top three to be hired for our department. The benefit with Officer Falk is that he has some prior experience in the Law Enforcement field and isn’t straight out of the police academy. He will still go through the entire Field Training Program as the recent officers hired before him,” said Horner.
