A group of 12 individuals from Salem Belleman’s Church in Mohrsville travelled to Orland, Maine from June 16-23 to serve through an organization called H.O.M.E. Inc. (Homeowners Organized for More Employment).
H.O.M.E was founded in 1970 and continues to be dedicated to keeping and enhancing the quality of life for low-income and homeless families.
The group spent the week working on two properties performing various tasks including framing, cleanup, insulating and drywall finishing.
Mission Trips continue to be a special ministry at Belleman’s, having completed two trips in 2018. Members of this trip were Pastor David Blitch, James Fitterling, Sharon Duvall, Carol Weyandt, Eric Weyandt, Bob Flay II, Bob Flay III, Frank Kornfeind, Mica Kornfeind, Jack Kornfeind, Brenden Livinghouse and Ryan Livinghouse.
