An SUV rolled over onto its roof on Route 222 bypass on July 3. The driver sustained minor injuries that sent her to the hospital.

Fleetwood Police report that at 7:31 a.m., a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek SUV, driven by Madison Dadich, 22, of York, was driving southbound on Route 222 bypass (Kutztown Road) near Schuyler and Kempsville roads when her vehicle went off the roadway. The SUV then traveled across the grass median and onto the oncoming travel lanes, struck a concrete bridge wall and then went back across both oncoming lanes where the SUV struck a guardrail causing the vehicle to roll onto its roof.

Dadich sustained a minor laceration to her head and was transported by Kutztown EMS to Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene by Schadler’s Towing.

The passing lane of Route 222 bypass northbound was closed at the crash site for about 45 minutes.

Virginville Fire Company and Kutztown Fire Company assisted on scene.

This incident is still under investigation.
