The Honey Brook Food Pantry hosts its third annual Honey Brook Music Fest at the Honeybrook Golf Club and Greenside Grill, 1422 Cambridge Road, Honey Brook, on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“This fun event is a hallmark for community entertainment. The proceeds will carry us through to the holidays season when contributions are down,” said Ken Ross, Board Chairman of the Honey Brook Food Pantry. “Our mission is to serve people with respect while empowering them toward food security and independence.”

A major fundraiser of the year for the food pantry, “A night of music” features entertainment by local musicians and bands. Morgantown teen Sam Schmidthuber performs Country at 5:30 p.m. including his newly released single and other Country favorites. At 6:30 p.m. the Rosewood Trio, a fan favorite, will be there in full force with the best in Folk, Rock and Blues; followed at 8 p.m. by the Larry Roney and Friends with Rock and Roll and the crowd really starts dancing on the Green. As usual crowd requests will be played by all three.

This year, the purchase of a ticket includes a donation to the Honey Brook Food Pantry, access to the concert stage area (bring your own chair), and a picnic burger or dog with fixings and beverages. A cash bar is on site, but no alcohol is allowed on the outside area. The Greenside Grill will be open for regular dinner and pub service.

Last year 357 people attended, this year they aim to beat that number. Tickets are available online at www.honeybrookfoodpantry.org/music-fest. Tickets are also for sale Aug. 1 at Honeybrook Golf Club and the Greenside Grill.
