Local student takes first place in HOSA speaking competition

Nevaeh Ritsick of Elverson, and a student at Technical College High School-Pickering Campus in Phoenixville, was the Pennsylvania winner of a speaking Competition at the HOSA Leadership Conference early this year. She went on to the International Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas, representing Pennsylvania and on June 27 Ritsick won a first place medal. This conference had over 10,000 participants with over 60 competitions.

HOSA is an organization that brings students from middle school to college together who have an interest in healthcare.
