Mr. and Mrs. Henry Breidegan, Jefferson Township, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married June 15, 1968 in Freidens Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bernville, by the Rev. Robert T. Zuck.
Breidegan, son of the late Virginia (Eckert) and Russell Miller, is retired from Wilson School District. He is currently driving school bus for Eshelman’s Bus Co., driving for Schuylkill Valley School District and working for Hershey Park.
His wife, Susan, is a daughter of the late John W. and Grace (Balthaser) Schaeffer. She worked for Sovereign Bank and Eisenhauer Nissan, but today works part time for Schuylkill Valley School District.
They have two children: Kelly, wife of Barry Ackerman, Womelsdorf; Amy, wife of Lance Sterner, Onelaunee Township. They have four grandchildren, Josiah and Kendall Sterner and Brayden and Emily Ackerman.
They celebrated with a party for family and friends at C.J. Hummels in Lenhartsville on their anniversary.
