Plowville’s National Night Out: 6 to 8 p.m. at Robeson Lutheran Church, 3520 Plow Road, Mohnton. Free. Food, games, entertainment and handouts from local businesses and organizations. First Responders will be represented that evening and will provide demonstrations.

Caregiver’s Support Group: 10 a.m. in the Concord Room at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer, Ave., New Holland. The Alzheimer’s Association and Garden Spot Village co-sponsor a support group for family caregivers of persons with Dementia. This month’s meeting will be an open discussion. Upon advance request, free respite care in Adult Day Services is available during meeting time if you are currently enrolled in Garden Spot Village Adult Day Services. “Then Sings My Soul”: an original production for this year’s Red Caboose Motel’s Summer Entertainment Series 7-8 p.m., in Chapel at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland. Compilation of hymns and songs inspired by the ministry of Rev. Billy Graham and looks at the history behind some of the most famous hymns. America’s Heroes of the 21st Century Trip: ULTWMA is sponsoring a one day trip to the “Flight 93 Memorial” and “Quecreek Mine Rescue Site” on Aug. 17. A private motor coach will leave from the rear parking lot of the Leola War Memorial Building, 54 W. Main Street, Leola at 6 a.m. Return is 6 p.m. Includes round-trip transportation, Memorial Plaza with Wall of Names of Heroes of Flight 93, Visitors Center, and Memorial Chapel.
