The Woman’s Club of Birdsboro will host its Annual Car Show, rain or shine, on Sunday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Daniel Boone High School, 501 Chestnut St. (Route 345). Jack and Son’s Auto Body is the Premier Sponsor. As many as 300 cars have been shown in previous years. Come out for a great day of awesome cars, fun activities, music, raffles and delicious food. This event is family friendly.

Cars can preregister for $10 by contacting Phyllis Hoffman at 484-363-0670 or $12 the day of the show between 9 a.m. and noon. Checks should be made payable to The Woman’s Club of Birdsboro, P.O. Box 42, Birdsboro, PA 19508.

Dash Plaques for the first 200 cars, six Cash Drawings (three for preregistered and three for day of show registrants), door prizes, 50/50 drawing, Chinese Auction, food, baked goods, music, cake walk and family fun for all. Sponsor Choice Awards. The Keystone Blood Mobile will also be present. Vendors are welcome, $10.

The Woman’s Club of Birdsboro was established in 1937. It is a nonprofit organization with the purpose of improving the community. The women host many events throughout the year including the Car Show in September and a Bingo in March. The Club awards various scholarships to graduating seniors of Daniel Boone High School. Other beneficiaries of club fundraisers are the Boone Area Library, Birdsboro-Union Fire Department, Birdsboro Police Department, Mission Trip Birdsboro, and the Birdsboro Community Memorial Center.
