Background: Grew up in south central PA, Bachelor’s from Dartmouth College, Masters from University of London, Ph.D. from M.I.T., worked with the Peace Corps, married to Frances with two daughters, Sarah and Katie, owner and CEO of largest kitchen cabinet supplier in America, served as Secretary of Revenue in Governor Ed Rendell’s cabinet.

Background: Life-long Lehigh Valley Resident, Foreign Service and International Politics Degree from the Pennsylvania State University, Masters in Public Administration from Lehigh University, served eight years in Pennsylvania House of Representatives and six years in the State Senate, lives with wife Pamela and their three children, Kathryn, William and Jack in Allentown.

Background: Currently serves as Bern Township Supervisor, former PA State Police Trooper for 25 years and Berks County Sheriff for 12 years, earned Bachelors in Law Enforcement and Corrections from Penn State University, completed National Sheriff’s Institute Executive Development Program, married to Margie for 30 years, has one daughter and two grandchildren, lifelong resident of Berks County.

Background: Lifelong resident of Berks County, currently Berks County Recorder of Deeds, former president of Hamburg Rotary and Northern Berks Chamber of Business and Industry, former small business owner 10 years, earned B.S. in Business Administration from Kutztown University, married 30 years to Cheryl, has two children and two grandchildren.

Jerry Knowles (R, incumbent, unopposed)

Background: Elected in 2009, former police officer and borough councilmen to his district, former Mayor of Tamaqua, spent six years as a Schuylkill County commissioner, graduated from Thaddeus Stevens Trade School, husband to Lorraine, has two sons and two grandsons.
