State Rep. Mark Rozzi, D-Berks, was sworn in Tuesday, Jan. 6 for his second term serving the 126th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
The swearing in ceremony marks the beginning of the 2015-16 legislative session, the 199th of the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
“I am proud of the progress made in my first legislative session. I had a seat in negotiations to strengthen child protection legislation and worked hard to give victims of sexual abuse a voice. I will continue to work hard and push for stronger laws that better protect victims of sexual abuse,” Rozzi said.
Rozzi said he will continue to focus on property tax relief efforts, infrastructure improvement, public safety and small business development.
Rozzi’s constituent service office is located at 4933 Kutztown Road, Temple, and is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. He said residents are encouraged to stop by or call 610-921-8921 for assistance with state-related issues, including birth certificates and driver and vehicle services.
Constituents can also connect with Rozzi by following him on Facebook, Twitter and signing up for email alerts on his legislative website, www.pahouse.com/Rozzi.
