David and Janet Anspach to celebrate 60 years of marriage

David and Janet Anspach, of Morgantown, will celebrate 60 years of marriage in January.

David W. and Janet L. Anspach, of Morgantown, will celebrate their 60th anniversary Jan. 2.

They plan to celebrate with cake and ice cream with their family, who will be arriving from all over the United States, including Texas, Iowa, Colorado, California and Arizona.

The couple was married in Lebanon, Pa. David is the son of the late David M. and Emma Anspach, and worked in the Grace Mines, at E.F. Bortz and Sons in Lancaster and as a federal government mine inspector. Janet is the daughter of the late Ezra and Cora Tobias, and worked as a seamstress for Blue Ball Mtg., Churchtown and Lebanon sewing factories.

The couple has four children, David W. Anspach, Jr.; Kean Anspach, husband of Debora; Deb Martin, wife of Tony Martin; and Mark Anspach, husband of Donna; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
