Through energy healing, yoga classes, detoxifaction and more — Kaleidoscope Angels is healing the community of Douglassville.

Kaleidoscope Angels held an open house on Sunday, Dec. 8 to spread the word about the newly open business.

The wellness center, located on Old Swede Road, originally operated out of Gilbertsville, but due to increased popularity, the shop moved to the new, larger location.

Guests who come in the front door of Kaleidoscope Angels are greeted to the pleasant smell of aromatic candles designed to calm the mind. The gift shop in the front of the store is complete with scores of crystals, homemade candles, figurines, and many other articles which would pertain to an alternative style of well-being.

As one continues on through the shop, there is a space for foot detoxifications, a process which removes dead skin and purifies the feet. A common room follows, where yoga classes meet and on this particular day, a duo of guitarists sat and played songs to entertain visitors. Beyond this, is a massage room as well as a chi machine, designed to relax the body and get the blood flowing in a new and alternative manner.

For the open house, venders were set up with different items and services for sale including a gluten free bake table, a numerology table, a handmade mineral and healing salve display, romance readings, and a hand drawn intuition specialist. Above this room, visitors can see a life coach specialist.

The open houses that Kaleidoscope Angels puts together are excellent demonstrations of what their business represents. The people who work there help educate visitors and anyone who wants to know about the alternative methods of healing which are available for people in this area. The staff is very warm and friendly and will happily answer any questions visitors have about the business.

Tess Jensen, the owner of the business, said that Kaleidoscope Angels offers a variety of services, in addition to health education, that includes hypnosis, Reiki healing, life coaching, yoga, angel card readings, acupuncture, foot detoxification, advanced energy healing, aromatherapy, color therapy, and massages — to name a few.

These services help make this place a unique stop for both men and women, children and adults, who wish to learn more about holistic medical treatments. Newcomers and veterans are welcome to this place to learn and to share their experiences with alternative healing.

A similar open house will be held the fourth Sunday of every month in order to promote what Kaleidoscope Angels is all about.
