Percy N. Miller, formally of Shoemakersville, now a resident of Berks Heim, celebrated his 90th birthday on December 16, 2013.
Percy is a veteran of the US Army, serving from 1943-1945 in France, Germany and other areas of the world. He was a member at several fire companies and VFW’s in the area.
More than 30 residents and staff from the home stopped by to wish him a happy birthday and enjoyed cake and laughter.
Percy has bounced back from several major health and physical problems, but still brings smiles to all around him.
Watch out for him, as he patrols the halls with his ‘red’ scooter.
