The Rev. Dr. Colleen G. Kristula has joined The Lutheran Home at Topton as chaplain and will be responsible for the spiritual care of the nearly 500 residents of the Diakon senior living community, Topton.
Kristula, of Muhlenberg Township, is a board-certified chaplain through The Association of Professional Chaplains. She has served Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Fleetwood and Central Park United Methodist Church in Reading and has had extension appointments with CONCERN Professional Services and Diakon Hospice Saint John, now Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, Inc. She currently serves on the board of The Circle of Life Coalition and is an adjunct lecturer at Alvernia University.
Kristula is a graduate of Elizabethtown College and earned her master of divinity and doctor of ministry degrees at Drew Theological School, Madison, N.J.
