Sunday, Jan. 19, a special event was held by the Board of the Honey Brook Library and the Friend of the Honey Brook Library to honor Paula McGinness for her 15 years of service to the Library as Director. Patrons, friends and special guests were in attendance at Heatherwood Retirement Community’s Common Room for a luncheon and program.

In addition to receiving a very special gift from those in attendance, McGinness received a Commendation from the State House of Representatives honoring her work presented by Rep. Timothy Hennessey.

Jan. 19 was also declared Paula McGinness Day by Mayor Chris Mulhall, mayor of the Borough of Honey Brook and Vice Chair of the Honey Brook Community Partnership.

A truly remarkable woman who has dedicated herself to the Community of Honey Brook was honored Sunday in a most deserving way.
