Clay on Main will offer a Paper Clay Garden Sculpture workshop on Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Paper clay is ceramic clay embedded with paper pulp. It has great advantages when producing large sculptural pieces and allows non-conventional building techniques. The workshop will also discuss how to integrate color and surface treatment in your sculpture. This class is for all skill levels.
The instructor, Elise Arnold, is a Philadelphia based sculptor/artist who has traveled extensively. Elise has great sensitivity to the natural world that shows through her work. We are pleased to have Elise back at Clay on Main. Workshop size is limited.
The $45 workshop fee included all materials and firing.
