Clay on Main will offer a Soap Making Workshop on Sunday March 16th, 2014 10 to 1 PM. Learn the how to make cold process soap. Included will be instructions on how to hand mill the soap you will take home allowing you to add botanicals such as herbs or petals. Please note that this process includes the use of lye and is not appropriate for young children. Please wear old clothing.
The instructor, Sandra Britland is a local artist and herbalist. We are pleased to have Sandra share her knowledge of soap making in this workshop. The $45 workshop fee included materials. Workshop size is limited.
Clay on Main is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit artists’ cooperative, located at 313 Main St in the historic village of Oley. The studio offers, classes, workshops, and gallery space for local artists. Clay on Main houses a complete clay studio, an encaustic studio, and a photographic darkroom. The Gallery hours are 1 to 5 PM Fridays and Sundays, or by appointment.
