The following students have been selected for the Sutton Scholars academic achievement scholarship program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania:
Alicia Demille, daughter of Chris and Lisa Demille of Shelbourne Road, Reading, is a senior at Exeter Township Senior High School. She will be attending IUP in the fall as an English major. An honor roll student, Demille is involved in Exeter Senior High School softball, Stonersville Flames softball, Turning Pointe Ballet, Community U.C.C., and Team Effort mission trips.
Emma Smith, daughter of Donna and David Smith of Hickory Lane, Reading, is a senior at Exeter Township Senior High School. She will attend IUP in the fall as a nursing major. Smith is a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Kelly Burkhart, of Reading, PA, the daughter of Philip and Tammy Burkhart and a 2010 graduate of Exeter Township Senior H.S.
Andrew Romer, of Birdsboro, PA, the son of Jeffrey and Laureen Romer and a 2011 graduate of Twin Valley H.S.
Air Force Airman Philip H. Oakey graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Oakey is the son of Robin Oakey of Douglassville.
He is a 2013 graduate of Daniel Boone High School, Birdsboro.
