Grainger is one of a number of sleek, beautiful, loving black cats that Cat Angel Network has up for adoption at the Pottstown and Downingtown Petsmarts. Did you know that black cats typically take longer to get adopted than cats of other colors? Those of us who have loved and been loved by favorite black kitties don’t understand this at all. In our minds, the old saying, ‘To know them is to love them,’ is so true!
Here is Grainger’s story:’I am Grainger, a super friendly kitty who was born in 2007. I am presently residing at the Downingtown Petsmart Adoption Center so it’s very easy to meet me on weekends. I am outgoing and enjoy being petted, and the volunteers keep telling me I have the BEST personality and I’m sure to get adopted FAST. But it hasn’t happened yet. I’ve been here for over a month and not one application. The volunteers explained to me that it is because the right person who is meant to be my adopter hasn’t come along yet. And they say that person is a very special person to get me. In addition to my adoration of humans, I am also very compatible with other cats. I can be adopted separately or with any other kitty, especially my companion, BUSTER (also available at the Downingtown Petsmart).’
Grainger is neutered, tested negative for FIV / FeLV and is current on all required vaccinations.
