On May 19, 2013, Amy Bennecoff and Jacob Ginsburg were joined in marriage in the interfaith Jewish-Lutheran wedding ceremony held at the Reading Public Museum Arboretum in Wyomissing. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Dale R. Bennecoff. Attending to the bride as Matron of Honor was Tonya (Gerner) Salkowski, a friend of the bride, and bridesmaids included friends Liza (Okie) Miles, Megan (Barrett) Doran and Lorilee Harrison, the groom’s sister Orli Ginsburg and the bride’s cousin Lauren Snyder.
Attending to the groom as Best Man was the groom’s brother Noah Ginsburg and groomsmen included friends Sam Bernstein, Joseph Gentilcore, Steve Bluhm and Nick Pelino as well as the bride’s brother Kevin Bennecoff. Flower girls were Ava Altman and Nika Altman, cousins of the groom. Asher Ginsburg, son of the couple, was the ring bearer. Signing the couple’s Kettubah (traditional Jewish marriage contract) were the groom’s step-siblings Jae-Jae Spoon and Jeremy Spoon.
The wedding reception took place at Neag Planetarium in Wyomissing. The newlyweds’ wedding trip was to Vero Beach and Key West, Florida.
The bride is the daughter of Dale and Sharon Bennecoff, of Shoemakersville. She is a graduate of Hamburg High School and received a dual Bachelor of Science in International Area Studies and Political Science/History from Drexel University in Philadelphia and a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, DE. She is employed as an attorney with Kimmel and Silverman in Ambler.
The groom is the son of Elliot Ginsburg and Terri Ginsburg and step-son of Linda Doctor and Jeffrey Spoon of Ann Arbor, MI. He is a graduate of Huron High School and received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, and his Juris Doctor from Temple University of Law in Philadelphia. He is employed as an attorney with Haines & Associates in Philadelphia.
