Berks Encore recently named Becka Malanios as the new center manager for Berks Encore-Mifflin and Juan DeJesus as the new center manager for Berks Encore-Reading.

Becka Malanios, 37 of Birdsboro, served as a licensed massage therapist for 10 years before joining Berks Encore. She holds an associate’s degree in marketing and merchandising from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, PA, as well as her certification in massage therapy from Cortiva Institute of Oaks, PA.

In her spare time, Becka is an actor, singer and dancer. She mainly participates in musical theater and is working on ‘The Music Man’ at Steel River Playhouse in Pottstown, PA.

She is married to her husband, Christopher, and has a 13-year old daughter and 18-year old step-daughter.

Juan DeJesus, 30 of Reading, is a U.S. Army veteran with previous work experience at the Berks Earned Income Credit Bureau. He interned for Berks Encore as an Affordable Care Act enrollment counselor, and he has volunteered for teen crisis centers, soup kitchens and homeless shelters.

He holds his certification in medical billing and insurance, and is finishing his bachelor’s degree in business management.

Juan is married to his wife, Glenys, and has three children; Jourel, age five; Jasiah, age two; and Jenesis, four months.

‘We are thrilled to have two highly qualified individuals join our team of center managers,’ says LuAnn Oatman, Berks Encore president. ‘Both Becka and Juan bring a great deal to the table and will serve their respective centers quite well. I encourage those in the Shillington and Reading areas to come in to meet these two fine individuals.’
