Cat Angel Network Pet Of The Week: Goldie, an adoptable orange tabby

Goldie, a very, very handsome orange tabby male kitty, was born in 2005, and here is his story:

‘My name is Goldie, and I’m a very loveable guy who is looking for someone to love. I once had an owner who loved me very much, but he passed away. Sadly, his family put me outside, and I had nowhere to go and didn’t know how to care for myself. So, I sat on the deck of his house day after day, hoping that he would return. People would feed me, but someone moved into the house and didn’t like that I continued to stay on their deck. So they chased me away with a stick and took out my eye. Luckily, a kind neighbor got help for me and got me to Cat Angels, where I am safe and very much loved. I am just about the most cuddly and loveable kitty you will find. There is not a mean bone in my body. I love everyone and so want to find a special person who will care for me for all the years I have ahead. I am neutered, tested negative for FIV / FeLV, and I am current on all required vaccinations.’

To submit an application for Goldie or to view other kitties, please visit Cat Angel Network’s website at www.catangel.org. Adoption Applications can be submitted online on our website or by a paper application available at either the Pottstown or Downingtown Petsmart store.

At the Downingtown store this weekend and next we are spotlighting our Special Needs cats, including Goldie. To see other Special Needs kitties, check out the listings on Spot, Staccato, Baby, Orion, September, and Cupcake on our website. Some of these kitties have been waiting a very long time for their homes, but we will not rest until each and every one of them is placed in their very own loving home.
