Kindergarten and First Graders in Fleetwood Girl Scout Daisy Troop 1956 were caught doing a good deed! The girls and a troop father, Tom Agnew, were sorting donated crayons. The girls sorted the small pieces to be re-melted into larger crayons. They sorted the colors so that each baggie would hold 5-7 different colored crayons. These crayons were donated to Shoe Boxes For Kids for their missionary work overseas. Agnew guided the girls in deciding which crayons were worth bagging and which needed to be melted into new crayons. The girls created 53 bags of crayons and had a big bag of pieces.
