On July 18th in Harrisburg, Roger Jacobs of Morgantown was awarded ‘Commander of the Year 2014’.
Jacobs stated this award goes to our Post 537; The Sons of the American Legion, The Auxiliary, Legion Riders and our Social Members.
They are the ones that made this post what it is today.
Along with Jacobs’ award, Post 537 was voted Number 1 in the State of Pennsylvania.
Roger Jacobs said ‘I thank everyone of our members for making this a great Legion.

Also, the American Legion Headquarters in Harrisburg voted for Roger and our Post. We had the highest number of new members for the size of our Post.
