Hi, my name is Orion! You may have noticed from my picture that I am missing part of my left front leg. No worries…it doesn’t affect me at all. I can run, climb stairs, and play. I just LOVE chasing the laser light around and playing with the other cats in the house!

No one knows what happened to me, but one day a nice lady saw me alone on a country road. She was a Cat Angel volunteer, and she showed me that I could trust her. She took me home and got my vet work done so she could start looking for a forever family for me.

I’m a very lovable guy and once I get to know you, I’ll follow you around the house. I will even roll over so you can pet and brush my tummy. Since I am missing part of a leg, I would rather walk myself than be picked up, but I am still very easy to handle.

I am the kind of kitty that some call a ‘cat’s cat.’ When I meet another cat, I walk up and bow my head as if to let the other kitty know that I am a friendly guy. Being with another cat makes me very happy so I’d like to be adopted to a home with at least one other kitty who will want to be my friend. To submit an application for Orion or to view other kitties, please visit Cat Angel Network’s website at www.catangel.org. Adoption Applications can be submitted online on our website or by a paper application available at either the Pottstown or Downingtown Petsmart store.

At the Downingtown store the weekend of May 24-25 we are spotlighting our Special Needs cats, including Orion. To see other Special Needs kitties online, check out the listings on Spot, Staccato, Baby, Goldie, September, Blossom, and Cupcake on our website. Some of these kitties have been waiting a very long time for their homes, but we will not rest until each and every one of them is placed in their very own loving home!
