Students from Rhythm in Motion Dance Company in Kutztown competed at the 42nd Atlantic Coast Championship competition in Wildwood, N.J., May 1 to 4.
Rhythm in Motion students competed in dance team, twirling and color guard classes.
RIM placed second in independent junior dance team, first place in independent junior twirlers, first in independent A and Open class dance teams, first in independent A class twirling and third in novice class color guard.
In addition to their team awards, two dancers from RIM received monetary dance scholarships from the Tournament Indoor Association and National Judges Association.
In June, the RIM dancers will travel to Walt Disney World, where they will take a professional dance workshop with Disney dancers, as well as perform at the Waterside Stage in Downtown Disney.
