Pottstown Memorial Medical Center honors local Emergency Medical Services hero during National Emergency Medical Services Week

Brett Fazik, EMT, Goodwill Ambulance Company was chosen as Pottstown Memorial Medical Center’s Local EMS Hero Award recipient after being nominated during National EMS Week. A luncheon was held at PMMC on Thursday, May 22, outside of the emergency room for all local Emergency Medical Services personnel.

Brett Fazik has 26 years of dedication and service to the Pottstown area as an EMS personnel and previously served as the Ambulance Chief at Goodwill Ambulance Company. In addition, Brett has numerous letters of commendation for outstanding service and leadership.

‘Brett is an exceptional EMT, who has saved many lives, treats all his patients with compassion and empathy, and is always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty,’ said a colleague.

This award is presented to an EMT/Paramedic who goes above and beyond and exemplifies what it means to be an emergency medical responder.
