A blanket to give and one to keep...Fleetwood Girl Scout Cadette Troop 1043 made blankets to donate in the beginning of their troop year and they are celebrating the end of their troop year by making blankets to keep.
The girls took a trip to Joann Fabrics in Wyomissing and selected fabric in their favorite colors and patterns. The fleece blankets are made by assembling one side with a solid material and one side with a patterned material. The girls cut fringe along all four sides and tied the fringe together, two strips at a time until both sides were connected. This was a great reward for a fun year of Girl Scouting!
